  1. I once came home to find my new kitten sitting inside my gecko tank after having fallen through the screen while chasing crickets.
    very amusing.
gecko was fine after I found him hiding under the pantry.

  2. that is _such_ a neat picture! you know what you should do, is submit one of your photos to the 101 frames event at gallery 101. it’s a silent auction open to everyone here is a long cut n paste thingy to mess up your journal:

Wednesday November 7 to Tuesday, November, 27, 2007

It’s that time of year again…

Annually, Gallery 101 hosts a glittering social event where an admiring public comes together with practicing Canadian artists. They come to see and be seen, to buy, to sell, to eat, drink and dance and, ultimately, to extend Gallery 101 a much needed support.

It has become a gallery tradition for each year to outdo the last – and we plan to uphold this tradition; but in order to do so, we need your help.

What we need is a small format work, (maximum 12 X 12 inches) – something that you can make or contain using one of the frames we have on hand. All frames this year, are donated generously by FRAMES BY ROCKWELL, and are available for pick-up at the gallery, during gallery hours (Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm). All finished works need to be dropped off at the gallery before Tuesday, November 27, at 5pm.

Please note that this is a fundraiser for the gallery, and you have the option of donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of your work or keeping 50% of the sale price.

i’ve done this for a few years in a row now, and it’s always fun :) the address is 301 1/2 bank st (just a door). they have a website also.

  3. you can use one of their free frames (they go quick tho) or you can opt to frame it yourself, then return it to them before nov 27. you fill out a little form with info and they assign your piece a number. if it sells, they mail you a cheque for your half (if you choose to get half of the sale price); if it doesn sell you go pick it up after. starting price for all pieces is 50$, i think.

  4. You’ve created kitty TV!

I did the same thing with dogs: I caught a squirrel in the attic and carried it though the house in the live trap.

you can’t see it but two dogs

are on the other side of that door staring intently.

Hi, I just added you as a friend. Like to say hi and all when I do that.
